ApacheCon injury
November 18th, 2007 by HenLack of posting for me (despite the many hand scrawled notes) because I woke up on Friday morning with an injured wrist. I think one of my carpals gave up or something like that; I couldn’t lift up a drink of water without the wrist losing strength half way.
Fortunately it’s getting better - I just need to give it some time to recover and not overdo the typing.

Weird — same thing kinda happened to me. It was like my left hand was asleep and it felt like constant pins and needles.
It’s gotten better since I’ve been back, but it was still scary for a guy who makes his living with his hands.
You ARE going to the doctor, right?

That was a month or so ago - the constant pins and needles. I had that in my left hand (little finger) and a bit of sympathetic pins and needles in the little finger of my right hand. Lasted a couple of weeks.
Will be going to the doctor once we’re back in Seattle.
